Chase Doors offers a wide variety of Wall Louvers made with integrally molded 25 mils of gel-coat. Resins are manufactured to meet your specific requirements. When required, resins can yield a flame spread of 25 or less per ASTM E-84 and are self-extinguishing per ASTM D-635. A few styles are shown below, for additional information please contact the factory.
A fixed 45 degree louver is used to allow air to flow freely in or out of a building, while keeping the majority of the elements out.
A non-fixed 45 degree louver allows the blade to be adjustable from closed to 45 degrees open.
Like the non-fixed 45 degree louver, the 90 degree louver allows the blade to be adjustable from closed to 90 degrees open. Maximum airflow is obtained when the slats are in the 90 degree position.
A back-draft is desirable when a fan or blower is present. A fan or blower usually provides pressure either before or after the damper, causing the blades to open when the pressure is on the rear of the blades and closing with the pressure equalizes across the damper.
